The story
The Namat Collection was born from travel, where Youki witnessed both the harsh realities of textile production and the boundless creativity people harness to survive. Determined to create something meaningful, she began exploring ways to merge tradition, sustainability, and design.
Since 2018, this journey has led to the creation of a “textile makershouse” with Sahara women, mastering and preserving two unique weaving techniques. By partnering with designers in Morocco and the Netherlands, these artisans are given continuous work while passing down their craft.
The Namat Collection is breaking patterns — reimagining waste as raw material, and redefining what valuable design can mean. It is about textiles that carry not only beauty, but resilience, culture, and story.
